This documentary, Ngā Taniwha Hikuroa - Livestreaming Legacies, is one of three pieces of research submitted for the Creative PhD at Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi. 

It provides insight into the live-streamed Paepae Kōrero (memorial service) of Māori language protagonist Dr Te Huirangi Waikerepuru and the live broadcast of the tangihanga of Te Arawa leader Sir Toby Curtis.

The case studies highlight the personal experiences of whānau pani (bereaved families) and broadcasters who livestreamed tangihanga during COVID-19.
